Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Day is just a few days away and everyone is getting ready for the celebration! Thanksgiving is a time when family and friends get together and enjoy one another. For the past three years a lot of family has come down to Puerto Rico and then we all have Thanksgiving dinner at my grandmas. It is so much fun getting to see everyone because rarely do we have a chance for the entire family to be together.

When it comes to the Thanksgiving most people only think about the food but, you can't forget about the outfit you are going to wear! One of the good things about Thanksgiving is you don't have to go all out when dressing up, you can wear a pear of nice pants with a blouse. Just add some accessories and you will be perfect!

Its More Than A Scarf

Alexander McQueen has partnered with Damien Hirst to created a scarf collection to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the skull scarf. All 30 of the scarves in the collection are so beautiful and exquisite. The collection reflects parts of nature throughout each piece. I find it so beautiful when an artist can pair the beauty of nature with that of fashion. I really cannot get over how amazing this collection is, you can see the amount of detail put into every design. The scarves aren't just an accessory but a piece of art.

Let the Festivities Begin!

Hanukkah is just around the corner, with only 11 days left until the celebration! It is crazy how early Hanukkah is landing this year and just before we know it, it has arrived. It kinda stinks how it lands before Thanksgiving and not around the same time as Christmas. But, we have to make the best out of the situation as we can! It is a time of celebration, to spend with family and friends. I love lighting the candles, eating latka's, and opening gifts!

I don't know why, I have always had this weird obsession with Winter Holidays. Although, I am Jewish, I love Christmas trees and music. (Hopefully no one is judging me.) In Puerto Rico, even though it doesn't snow the holidays are a very big celebration, I mean Puertoricans' like to celebrate every time they have the chance too! There are parrandas at every party or even the mall, everyone is always drinking coquito, and everyone is always happy!

Realizing there are only 11 days till Hanukkah and freaking out because you are still missing tons of gifts to buy, relax, because hopefully I can help. Gifts, don't have to be expensive or all fancy to be perfect. I find, that if you put together a few of their favorite things, you can make the perfect gift! There are just a few steps to figuring out what they want.

Step 1: Think of their favorite candy or drink, something they enjoy, and something you know they need.

Step 2: Next, choose where you want to buy something related to the category.

Step 3: After, you have bought all the gifts put them together in a basket or box!

Step 4: Lastly, make sure you add a cute card to the gift!

Here is an example of what I would give to my sister Alexis:
I know she loves Starbucks and chocolate, lotions and scents, and scarves.

A Print of Happiness

Are you already starting to worry about all the gifts you need to buy this year for the holidays? Hot drinks, movies, and the cold

When you start thinking about Fall and Winter what are the first things you think of? For me it's hot beverages, watching movies in bed, and being in cold weather were all you want to do is get under a really comfortable blanket. Each season gets me into different beauty products, clothes, food, TV shows, and the list can go on and on.

My list of necessities for Fall and Winter this year are A LOT of body lotions and scrubs. I find that whenever I go to cold weather my skin starts getting dry as soon as I get off the plane. It is really important to keep your skin hydrated and looking fresh even if you are wearing long pants and shirts to cover it.

Whenever I picture a holiday party, I see people wearing red lipstick. The great thing about wearing red lipstick is you don't need to add much more make up. If you are wearing red lipstick and a lot of other make up it can look overly exaggerated, it is important to always feel natural.

One of the only things I can think about when I am in cold weather is having a hot drink in my hand. After walking around the city or being outside it is the best feeling having that first sip of coffee and plus, Starbucks holiday drinks just came out again!
